I had a sleep paralysis thing last night! Scared the shit out of me.
That's soooo weird.

Oh now this is fantastic. For some reason your enigmatic dodecahedron made me think of Albrecht Durer's solid in "Melencolia I".

It was partly inspired by the five Platonic solids in Asterios Polyp. I've come to really like these kinds of shapes. :3 And the solid in Melencolia is great--I can't believe I never paid attention to that before.

One could spend a lifetime looking at Melencolia. In fact, some people have. ;)

This is interesting and so is the subject matter. Whenever I have sleep paralysis I usually hallucinate balls of light casting intense shadows on my walls or flickering candles and fires, sometimes inside of cages that float through the room. A few times in my hallucinations I've looked into mirrors and had missing / rearranged facial features, like lack of eyes or a larger-than-normal mouth, crazy and terrifying stuff! Thankfully I don't get them often.
